Born and raised in the State of Mato Grosso, in Brazil, Gabriella graduated in Law at Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), where she developed a passion for international law. After finishing Law School in Brazil, she moved to Paris, France, to start her master’s degree in International Private and Commercial Law at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), where she still lives. She is currently a third-year Ph.D student at the same University.

As a lawyer (in Brazil and Portugal), she works mainly in the area of corporate Law, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring and international contracts. She is very interested in studying the relation about the International Private Law and the goals for sustainable development of the UN 2030 Agenda.

She is a member of the International Law Studies Group at UFMT (GEDIP), was a volunteer professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), a volunteer judge at the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition in Washington, DC (2018), delegate at the ECOSOC Youth Forum 2019, in New York, USA, and at the CEPAL Forum on Sustainable Development in Santiago, Chile (2019).
