World Youth Summit has set goals to end hunger, in achieving food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. This goal is intended to achieve issues to do with food security, improved nutrition and to promote sustainable agriculture. It focuses on; improving agricultural productivity and the income of the small scale food producers; addresses malnutrition in various dimension; and the ability to access safe, nutritious and efficient food for all every time
This goal focuses on how the world can achieve universality in terms of reducing poverty level with a particular focus on ending extreme poverty everywhere including low-income, middle-income and even high-income countries. In so doing, this goal intends to eradicate extreme poverty for all people everywhere by 2030 by ensuring that all men and women, in particular the poor and the vulnerable have equal rights to economic resources and access to basic services, ownership, control and to create sound policies frameworks at all levels based on pro-poor and gender-sensitive development strategies to support accelerated investment in poverty eradication actions.
